This renovation took place just up the street from us on a section of Rt 66. If you have traveled this half mile section of the historic highway in the past it is hardly recognizable these days. The entire corridor, once seen as blight and marked for tear down, has recently been embraced by Tulsa’s entrepreneurs with a vision of building on the past something progressive and exciting for the future. Kent and Lakin Gooch are two of these Tulsans – stepping up and contributing to this renaissance by saving this 1920s building, improving on critical infrastructure while preserving original charm. It is a project close to home for us – in more ways than one – and we thank them for the opportunity.
