In this repurpose of a former warehouse space, Joe Momma’s Pizza was outfitted with curvilinear walls (echoing the roundness of the pie, tomatoes and pepperoni) intercut with rectilinear walls (echoing the sharp angles of a slice). The restaurant features an oven wrapped in recycled glass tile, as well as an indoor-outdoor space.

I believe that design contributes to the uniqueness of a city and that Shelby is consistently producing innovative and creative work that positively shapes the landscape of Tulsa. He is a leader in our state in sustainable design and is raising the bar for other architects. Tulsa is a better looking city because of Shelby’s design.
