THE PROJECT: Troost Duplex
OUR MISSION:
To design a multi-family residence in the ”Noche” Cherry Street neighborhood that complemented its neighbors while maintaining its distinctive, contemporary individuality.
THE PLAN:
The developers of this project saw the concept and loved it. Two compact living units with cedar, metal, and stucco exteriors not only add architectural diversity to the “Noche” district, but also increase the density to help improve the vitality of the neighborhood. The final product is an open floor plan with a central courtyard inspired by the architecture of New Orleans. The materials are low maintenance – perfect for the homeowner who just wants to live and enjoy the space without having to spend their free time pushing a lawn mower or a paintbrush. This residence has been featured on the cover of the Tulsa World Homes edition. The developers liked the units so much they moved into one of them and put their house up for sale.
GREEN/SUSTAINABLE ELEMENTS:
Passive solar orientation
Outdoor living space
Tankless hot water
Low maintenance exterior finishes
Low E glazing
