THE PROJECT: Joe Momma’s

OUR MISSION: Create a great dining environment for a growing Tulsa based restaurant in Tulsa’s downtown Blue Dome District.

THE PLAN: Curving forms representing pizza and its creation – dough rolling/tossing, pepperoni, sausage, peppers, the swirling of tomato sauce on the pie, the flat round pans that create the perfect crust … all the magic that is pizza.  Contrasting the curves of the concrete counter top, soffit, bar and stage are sharp angles symbolizing the slicing of the pizza, the shovels and other utensils used in the preparation of this magical, perfect food.

SUSTAINABLE ITEMS: Reuse of an existing downtown warehouse, reclaimed furniture, recycled glass tile, waterless urinals, naturally ventilated indoor/outdoor eating space
