THE PROJECT: Ft. Gibson Lake Cabin

OUR MISSION: To design a single family residence that capitalizes on a spectacular lake view, is low maintenance, and can handle periodic large family loads.

THE PLAN: We designed this lake home for a retired couple to build on Fort Gibson Lake in North East Oklahoma.  The goal was to design an elegant lake cabin that didn’t require constant care.  Simple roof forms, wide open light filled spaces, and a spectacular lake view from the anterior deck are just a few of the finish elements that the Reads now enjoy.

SIPS for strength and insulative properties
   as well as decreased waste of materials and
   speed of construction
Reclaimed timbers
Composite Decking made from recycled content
Local stone
Low maintenance metal roof made from
   recycled content
