THE PROJECT:
The Continental
OUR MISSION: Design a space for Tulsa’s only high end
Downtown Jazz Club
THE PLAN: An adaptive reuse project, the owner wanted the space to have the look and feel of a 1920’s speakeasy. The resulting design is a smooth, sophisticated interior with a touch of art deco feel.
The focal point of the project is the entryway. Stainless steel, blue neon and black leather were selected to contemporize the neo deco design. Unlike the original speakeasys, this one doesn’t hide behind a conservative façade.
GREEN/SUSTAINABLE ELEMENTS:
Reuse of existing building
Low voltage lighting
